TECHNICAL INFORMATION ABOUT THIS WEBSITE’S ACCESSIBILITY

Trydan Gwyrdd Cymru Ltd is committed to making its website accessible, in accordance with the Public Sector Bodies (Websites and Mobile Applications) (No. 2) Accessibility Regulations 2018.

Compliance status

This website is partially compliant with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines version 2.2 AA standard, due to ‘the non-compliances’ listed below.

NON-ACCESSIBLE CONTENT

The content listed below is non-accessible for the following reasons

Non-compliance with the accessibility regulations

Some images do not have a text alternative, so people using a screen reader cannot access the information. This fails WCAG 2.2 success criterion 1.1.1 (non-text content).

We plan to add text alternatives for all images by 16/09/2024. Thereafter, when we publish new content we’ll make sure our use of images meets accessibility standards.

WHAT WE’RE DOING TO IMPROVE ACCESSIBILITY

Following the accessibility audit we have commissioned, we will design and publish Trydan’s accessibility roadmap. This will describe how and when we plan to improve accessibility on this website.

Making a website accessible means making sure it can be used by as many people as possible. Accessibility means more than putting things online. It means making our content and design clear and simple enough so that most people can use it without needing to adapt it, while supporting those who do need to adapt things.

We believe that as many people as possible should be engaged in shaping our energy future, and this is why we would like people to access information which is clear, honest, transparent and accurate. This way we will get the widest possible range of informed views when we ask for feedback, and we will have helped to enhance energy citizenship in Wales.
